Milk and Cookies Photo Shoot

A lot of diy went into the wedding planning shown on this sentry.

We put almost all of the details together ourselves. The guest sign-in area consisted of a “recipe for love” sign that detailed Ellen and Josh’s love story. Then, we had guests fill out recipe cards with their own recipes for love and put them in the recipe box. Their photography captured our vision perfectly. The table was decorated with various items that went along with milk or baking, including a vintage food scale, an old milk carrier, and lots of vintage milk bottles filled with flowers. We also used a cookie jar from Anthropologie with a wood sign we made that spelled out “Udder-ly in Love”. We made the menu cards by nailing printed menus onto cedar shingles. We made the napkins and used twine and heart cookie cutters as the napkin rings. The runner played off of the ruffles in Ellen’s dress and was made by sewing strips of fabric together and gathering them. Hay bales served as seating.
