We wanted it to feel cozy, natural and effortless – so the decor would just blend in and highlight the beauty around us. I am an avid estate sale antique hunter and love the feel classic and simple that timeless pieces create. We collected over 100 glass bottles of all colors from many different places, with our favorites coming from the Alameda Antiques Fair, which is a huge fair on an old airport tarmac with an amazing selection of antiques of all kinds. we also found a lot of wonderful old lace as well as inherited some of my grandma’s lace to adorn the tables with the colored bottles. I wanted the flowers to have a wildflower feel and Leah and Rafael at Spiral Hand did an amazing job. My girls wore beautiful dresses of their choosing in muted ivories, blushes and pinks, and they looked incredible. I love that they can wear their dresses again! the boys looked great in grey slacks with ties we bought in Italy when we were on vacation, and black chucks, Andres’ favorite shoes. With the raw linen tablecloths, colored bunting flags my mom and nephew made, and gorgeous flowers, it was perfect.
