Mill Valley Wedding

Some great ideas went into the planning of this wedding.

Once we found our hidden estate in Milly Valley, the wedding’s style seemed to fall into place. I am incredibly lucky to have a talented husband who was able to turn all my ideas into reality. He created our wedding logo and incorporated it into all aspects of our wedding from our invitation suite he created to our desserts, everything was branded with our love! We have custom made pine boxes engraved with our logo for our centerpieces- I couldn’t have loved these more, and they are great storage boxes for everyone who took one home. Keeping with our keys in our logo, we bought lots of vintage keys off ebay and tied catalog tags stamped with our logo tied with twin as our escort cards. I also tied keys around glass bottles that were on the tables for water and around terrariums I made from apothecary jars and succulents. My husband and I made all the paper goods from ideas for wedding blogs. In lieu of a guest book we had a photo wall my husband made with a tripod set up with instructions to leave a note on the chalkboard then snap away. We had a traditional Persian ceremony. I love the idea that I got married the same way my sister, mother, and grandmother did. As tradition, I had four of my closest friends holding fabric over our heads while married women came up during the ceremony and ground sugar over our heads to pass sweetness on to us.
